Day 1 Genoa

Before meeting your superyacht crew, explore Genoa. Via Garibaldi showcases the Republic's former glory with 16th-17th century palaces. Turn into the caruggi (narrow alleys) and let the scent of bread, coffee and spices guide you through the labyrinthine old city.

Day 2 Portofino

Arrive in Portofino harbour, flanked by pastel-coloured houses and forested green hills. Enjoy scuba diving along the coast, then visit the charming neighbouring town of Santa Margherita. Sail on to Rapallo, a classic Italian seaside town famous for its weekly market and the hilltop Sanctuary of Montallegro.

Day 3 Cinque Terre (North)

Monterosso al Mare is the northernmost and only village with a sandy beach — perfect for sunbathing and sunset photography. Vernazza is the only natural harbour in Cinque Terre, famous for its elegant houses and beautiful beach. Climb the Doria Castle for panoramic views over the village and bay.

Day 4 Cinque Terre (South)

Corniglia is the only village not directly on the sea, reached by climbing 300+ steps, surrounded by vineyards. Manarola is the oldest village, built on rock with brightly coloured stacked houses — the best spot for iconic Cinque Terre photos at sunset. Riomaggiore is the largest village, with residents dating back to the 8th century.

Day 5 La Spezia

La Spezia is the pearl of Liguria. The beautiful Gulf of La Spezia frames the city against blue skies, while historic buildings like the Cathedral of Christ the King bear witness to centuries of history. As a port city, its seafood is exceptional. Stroll the seafront or explore the historic centre.

Day 6 Palmaria Islands

The Palmaria Islands lie at the western tip of the Gulf of La Spezia. The largest island covers 1.6 km2 and the archipelago was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The mountainous terrain features spectacular cliffs, caves and bays including the famous Blue Grotto, with over 500 plant species and rare wildlife.

Day 7 Sestri Levante

Sestri Levante sits between Genoa and La Spezia, nestled between two bays — the Bay of Fairy Tales and the Bay of Silence — earning it the nickname "City of Two Seas". Beautiful beaches, colourful Ligurian architecture and a rich history as an ancient maritime and commercial centre make it a favourite Italian holiday destination.

Day 8 Genoa

Your yacht journey comes to an end as you disembark in Genoa this morning. Thank you for joining this wonderful voyage along the Ligurian coast — may the memories of this journey stay with you always.
